That’s Gratitude was founded in March 2005 by two friends and business colleagues, Christine Hagan and Laura Kozak. The company is part of Kogan, LLC, a certified Woman-Owned Small Business and is based out of Baltimore County, Maryland. It serves clients of all types and in all states and proudly boasts a 100% customer satisfaction record having consistently met or surpassed its customers’ expectations.
Ms. Hagan and Ms. Kozak came up with the idea for That’s Gratitude after having known a number of people who did not send out wedding thank you notes. The two decided there was a need to say “thank you” and that their five-step, time-saving thank you note system would help people who had the best of intentions, but simply not enough time to say thank you themselves. Since founding the company, they have served clients ranging from newlyweds, to new graduates, to new parents, to mother-of-the-brides who have purchased the thank you note writing service for their daughters, as well as a variety of businesses who have used That’s Gratitude to thank customers, donors and supporters.
Combined, That’s Gratitude’s two owners have almost 40 years of professional experience in the fields of marketing communication, public relations and graphic design. Their experience along with their goal of helping others say “thank you” has helped them to assemble an outstanding team of service providers capable of addressing all of their clients’ needs from thank you notes, to invitations, to calligraphy and graphic design in the case of consumers, to customer retention and marketing for its business clients.
